  • You have automated stories that keep you playing small.

Your brain automates the thoughts that are repeated over time. You probably have automated thoughts and beliefs that you don’t even realize are there. “I don’t know.” “I can’t.” “I’m stuck.” “I’m overwhelmed.” These are all self limiting beliefs that can be automated in the brain. And those automated beliefs keep you playing small and stop you from living out your mission. [7:01]

  • Your brain isn’t looking at your goal sheet or your vision board.

Your brain is constantly trying to achieve these 3 basic human needs:
1. Safety 2. Worth and 3. Love

Every action you try to make, every goal you try to aim for… If it does not line up with those three basic needs, then your brain will resist it and make it almost impossible for you to achieve. Your brain doesn’t care about your goals, it cares about keeping you safe, valued, and loved. Lucky for us, we can rewire what those things look like in our brain! [8:43]

  • Stop stopping by deciding in advance (DIA)

The brain’s automation system is based on what is being repeated. The first step in rewiring your brain to stop stopping is awareness of the thought and deciding your action in advance, no matter when the thought comes up! When you decide to follow through with your decided action in advance, you are able to show your brain that you are safe, valued, and loved. Doing this over time will create a new neuronetwork and be automated in your brain. [19:30]
