Have you ever felt like you are doing all the things, showing up, trying hard… but you just don’t seem to get traction or much exposure?
Do you ever feel like your niche in the market place is just too crowded and you’re a small fish in a big pond?
What if I told you that the thought of a “crowded market” is the problem, not the market itself?
Here’s the thing, when you’re in a niche wanting to stand out, you need to lean into the brain-based perspective to get curious about what you’re telling yourself as you put yourself out there. You need to slow down long enough to ask yourself what you think and feel about your business.
On this week’s Epic Success Podcast, I want to help you change your thoughts around “crowded market” and become an industry leader using my Neuro CoachingTM model where I go from the inside out to help you train your brain so you can sell more, impact more, and have a real legacy business.
Ready to slow down and dive in so you can stand out? I’ve got you!
The biggest take-aways from today’s episode are:
- “The value you bring to the market is not what you sell.“
People buy because they identify with the identity of the person who’s selling it. Why is that important? Because you can’t outsell an identity. How hard do you think it will be to sell something if you are not 100% in the belief that you are the best person for someone to buy from? [8:22]
- “If your value is still connected with what you do, then you are looking for validation through sales.“
When your value is tied to sales, then every time someone doesn’t buy it feels like a personal rejection and a reason you “aren’t cut out for entrepreneurship.” Your value is separate from what you do and once you take the time to do the brain-based work to separate your value from what you do and sell, you come from a place of service and connection. I want you to understand this deeply: your value cannot be earned – you had value the moment you were born. [12:16]
- “We get sales and we get people to buy in direct proportion to the belief that we have in the transformation for them.”
When you believe 100% that the person’s life will not be its very best unless they invest in what it is you have, then you can come from a place of gratitude and compassion for that person making the decision. You are not defending yourself, you are defending and advocating for them. [16:15]
If you have doubts or imposter syndrome keeping you from standing out in your industry, those are just pre-programmed, automatic beliefs that are stored in your subconscious. You’ve got to (and absolutely can) remove those because you cannot outperform your subconscious.
When you move to that place where your value is no longer co-mingled with your sales, you can come from a place of absolute service and stand out in your industry.
The filter question I want to leave you with is “Do I believe?” Take time to consider how strong your belief really is in who you are and what you offer.
