Whose voice are people hearing when you speak?
Is it your unique voice or simply a mirroring of other coaches? People don’t need (or want) cookie-cutter coaches. They are hungry for authenticity. They need to know that there are coaches out there who have been where they are, who have struggled, and fought for their dreams.

- It is about your journey.
You need to understand what you’ve been through and how you can use those experiences in your coaching business. It is through those experiences coupled with an understanding of transformational coaching that you can have the confidence in your expertise. Oftentimes we spin our wheels trying to prove our worth to others. Instead, we should be using our experience and expertise to coach others to greatness. It is your journey and that is what gives you that unique voice. [5:10]
- You have permission to truly be yourself.
People will be wholly attracted to you, as an individual, when they see you as someone they can relate to. People want to know that you struggle with fears and failures just like they do. They will be more apt to hear your voice and heed your direction when you are personified. That is why stepping into your unique voice is so crucial, because no one is you. [8:50]
- Don’t be afraid of selling.
Do you get a pit in your stomach when you get to the selling part? You haven’t learned to trust your voice yet. You can trust your expertise and sell with confidence. You have what it takes to get your clients the results they’re looking for. Don’t be afraid of selling. [9:58]
