Hustle. Hard work. 20 hour days. 7 days a week. Doing it alone. No team. No time. No freedom. No success.
It’s easy to fall into the mindset of a solo-entrepreneur. It’s easy to fall into the pattern of all work and no play. It’s easy to fall into busy-ness and forget why you started your business in the first place.
And that doesn’t have to be you!
You can work hard, play harder, and still grow your business into the six, seven, and eight figures you’ve been dreaming of.
And you can do it by building a team.
In this week’s episode of the Epic Success Podcast, I talk with Kelly Roach aboud building teams that actually help you grow your business, profits, and vision.
Kelly Roach transforms overworked entrepreneurs into seven-figure CEO’s. With her executive Fortune 500 experience, Kelly combines timeless business principles employed by billion-dollar corporations with the speed and agility of the most powerful online marketing strategies of today.
If you’re ready to start tapping into the power of having a team to help you reach your six, seven, and eight figure business, then this is for you! Let’s dive in and get started!
The biggest take-aways from today’s episode are:
- “The more revenue you produce, the bigger your workload is. Unless you leverage a team.”
Working really hard won’t get you success on its own. The solo entrepreneur will struggle to make it on their own by doing exhaustive work, day in and day out, and sacrificing the reason you started your business in the first place. Having a team is key to growing yourself and your business the way you’ve always dreamed. [4:02]
- “Get re-anchored to your purpose and take time to remember “Why did I start this?”
There is a reason why you became an entrepreneur. There is a purpose you have for doing what you do. There are people that you are showing up for and serving day in and day out. How are you staying anchored to that vision and calling? It is so important to actively be aware, remind yourself, and train your brain to believe this calling, so you can see it play out in your life. [9:05]
- “Keeping it simple and managing a tight team is a really important element to gaining hypergrowth.“
When I first brought my online business online, I fell into this trap of hiring contractors to help me grow my business. The problem with that was that I spent all my time managing people. In reality, all I had to do was bring one qualified person on my business and start there. [15:30]
You don’t have to build your dream business alone, and you shouldn’t! You can dive deep and start building a team that works alongside you to achieve the business you’ve always dreamed of having!

Today I want to give a shoutout to one of my Epic Success Podcast listeners who left a 5-star review titled “Great show! Helped change my…”:
“I would still be feeling lost and guessing what my next step should be if I hadn’t found Dr Shannon Irvine’s podcast a few months ago. The insight and knowledge shared by the show’s host and guests were essential to start seeing things under a new perspective and, more importantly, to begin acting differently, especially those in those areas I needed the most: mindset, goal setting and productivity. Thank you Dr Shannon for putting this show up and for helping lots of us like me!.” |
