Grief is hard.
No one expects to find themselves on the grief journey.
However, as life is known to throw curve balls, we must pivot and adjust to the seasons in which we find ourselves.
Having the resources and support can make all the difference in the transition of grief.
When our guest found herself in the middle of grief after the loss of her mother, she saw a need and knew immediately that she wanted to feel that hole. She made it her life mission to help others that were dealing with the same type of grief.
She enrolled in the Neuro Coaching Certification Program and began working on her own limiting beliefs, such as “not enough,” and “not qualified.” As she worked through the brain science of our thoughts, she was able to overcome these obstacles. Now she uses that exact framework with her clients.
She is able to teach her clients to pay attention to their thoughts, especially as they navigate grief. Not all our thoughts are true or helpful. We are the creator of them, so we can refute and rewrite them. What a powerful tool and resource for those who have been thrust into the grief journey!
In this episode of the Epic Success Podcast, I am talking with Caro Brookings, a suicide bereavement coach. Her calling in life is to help others who have suffered the same fate. She is a Certified Neuro Coach and has successfully completed the ILCT Grief Coaching course, enabling her to give clients permanent transformations.
The biggest take-aways from today’s episode are:
- Transformation is in the transaction. Know your value. Be confident in your pricing. People will see that and value it as well. They will be more apt to go “all in” on something they see as valuable and they have invested in.
- You are not responsible for your client’s results. Clients ultimately have to take responsibility for their results. You give them the resources, knowledge, and accountability, but they still have to put in the work to see the results.
- Well done is better than perfect. Don’t get stuck in trying to be perfect or wait for the perfect timing. Just start. Put yourself out there and start being consistent in your calling. It will be scary at first, but it will become a normal rhythm.
