We don’t typically correlate success with giving, but the two go hand-in-hand. God wired us in such a way that when we give, we receive blessings in return.
Giving and being generous right where you are is one of the most rewarding and life-giving practices you can do.
The Bible has something profound to say in the matter of generosity:
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” – 2 Corinthians 9:6
What a beautiful reminder that what we give out to the world, we will receive back in abundance. The reward is not always monetary, but will be more valuable than that which can be counted.
The biggest take-aways from today’s episode are:
- Freedom comes from generosity. As you come into alignment with who you are and who you want to become, you can begin giving out of it. From that, more impact is created. The tool to create that is already inside of you…generosity.
- God has designed us to be generous. He has created us in such a way that when we give from where we currently are the more we receive. We are looking at the wrong, broken places to gain impact and influence. If we want to see success this year, it starts from the inside out..
- People are hungry for a coach to come alongside them. It takes alignment, abundance, vision, belief, and ultimately generosity to make an impact in the lives of others. People are yearning for someone they can relate to. You have what the world needs.
You’ve been given the exact tools that you need for impact and influence, and it begins in your mind. Your brain has to see it in order to believe it.
