This is actually pretty dangerous for your business. Yes, you’re getting a result and a sense that “something is working” – and that is leading you further astray. Think of popularity. Popularity doesn’t equal profitability: there are a lot of popular, broke people out there. Remember, a follower is not a lead. [5:37]

I repeat: a follower is not a lead. So, how do you move someone from a follower to a lead, where they go from “I found you.” to “I know you.” to “I’m interested.”? Even after they become interested, they’re still not a customer. Just like a relationship, there are phases you have to go through before you can get that “Yes!” [24:17] - “How you choose to show up in that business is what gives you the life and results you are getting.”
You can have a business that makes you feel trapped or a business that gives you freedom and impact. Most success entrepreneurs have experienced both – and what changed wasn’t their business. It was them. [48:20]
There is a lot of regurgitated information out there. You can receive a copy of a copy of a copy of information and suddenly, there’s no value in that information anymore.
How are you showing up in your space?
What causes a person to want to work with you?
Are you sharing something that is creating more need and more demand for what you’re offering?
Are you sharing your true and authentic self? Or are you being a regurgitated version of someone else?
Get out of that imposter syndrome so you can own your expertise and bring it to your audience.
